We Said “Never Again.” So Why Are We Opening a Fourth Songbird Studio?

I’m going to be honest.

After the pandemic, I didn’t think we would ever open another physical studio. 

Not because I don’t love Songbird or our students or our teachers, but because carrying three locations during a time when no one could leave their house, while still paying rent on all of them, was brutal.

I would lie awake at night terrified that we weren’t going to make payroll. 

It was pretty gnarly. 

And after surviving that, the last thing I wanted was more overhead or another lease.

But here we are in 2026, opening our fourth Songbird Studios location in Novato, Marin.
