[Episode 3] Building Songbird Marin… Will We Be Ready By September 1st?

We signed a lease back in May, hoping to be open by September.

Then we took a family trip to Europe…

So you can imagine what I was feeling walking into this space for the first time in three weeks. 😅

If you read my last blog post (or you follow me on Instagram), you already know all the gory details about how Songbird Marin almost didn’t happen.

But like the saying goes… MAMA DIDN’T RAISE NO—

Anyway… 

My husband, my friends, my colleagues… they kept me in it. 

And this week I finally got to walk back in.

Maybe it’s the jet lag. 

Maybe it’s that very specific vacation confidence where you come home and think you can renovate a building before Labor Day...

Either way: it’s coming together. 

Like, really well.
