The Singing / Straw™ is the next evolution in singing.
The first of its kind: a patented, reusable, sustainable and customizable straw phonation tool set for singers, speakers, and vocalists that promotes vocal efficiency and reduces tension.
What is straw phonation?
Singing through a straw is a powerful “semi-occluded vocal tract”(SOVT) exercise, which means that as you vocalize, the air coming out of your mouth is partially blocked. This creates a resistance in the vocal tract, which sends energy back to the vocal folds and helps them vibrate more efficiently. Basically, magic.
Getting started with the Singing / Straw
Using the 'Singing / Straw' or 'Singing / Straw PRO' couldn't be simpler: just sing with your lips around the straw.
Do this for a minute or so, then go back to singing or speaking and see if you notice a difference. If you’re doing it correctly, singing should feel lighter and easier. Seriously, it's that simple.
Use your Singing / Straw in your warm-ups, cool-downs, or even in between songs during a performance. Straw phonation is a powerful and discreet way to bring your voice back into balance and maintain long-term vocal health—wherever and whenever you need it.
How do you know the Singing / Straw is working?
Practice with your Singing / Straw for a minute or so, and you should notice a difference almost immediately.
• An ease or "lightening" of your voice

• Reduced tension and strain

Using just one straw definitely has immediate effects, in a good way. Plus, it’s just so elegant! Fantastic materials, something I’ll be proud to carry with me and show off to my singers, and it’ll help me get back in shape once it’s time to start touring again.Deke Sharon | Producer of "The Sing-Off" and Musical Director of the "Pitch Perfect" movie series.
I literally use it for EVERYTHING. Warming up, cooling down, and if I am feeling the slightest bit of fatigue. It saves me every time, and I am so thankful to know that I'm taking care of my voice in the best possible way. It’s a total lifesaver!"Julie Adams | Opera Singer
The Singing / Straw has become my favorite gadget to train and take care of my voice. After I suffered from a strong laryngitis that left me with dysphonia, using the Singing / Straw just 5 minutes every day helped me recover my voice.Sandro León | Vocal Coach and Singer-Songwriter
